Company Recognized for Ninth Consecutive Year

BOSTON, Mass. – March 3, 2015– BA Insight is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of KMWorld’s 100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management for 2015. This is the ninth consecutive year that the company has received this recognition from KMWorld.

BA Insight provides connectivity, classification, and application software that accelerates and future-proofs the implementation of on-premise and cloud-based SharePoint portals, transforming how users find information across the organization. Our technology enables search engine independence and reduces implementation cost, time, and risk.

Our Knowledge Integration Platform consists of three software engines that provide a comprehensive set of capabilities:

  • User Experience Engine – provides applications and UI components to help with the creation of knowledge centers along with preview, refinement, and reuse of search results.
  • Content Classification Engine – increases findability using auto-tagging, metadata generation, and text analytics.
  • Content Connectivity Engine – provides secure connectivity to a wide variety of content systems, enabling unified views of all knowledge assets.

BA Insight’s Knowledge Integration products are fully flexible in how they can be configured and implemented. Deployments of all types are supported- from multi-component, enterprise-wide rollouts to departmental, component-based, phased approaches – and everything in between.

“We are delighted and proud to have received this recognition from KMWorld,” said Jeff Fried, Chief Technology Officer at BA Insight. “We provide a lower cost, lower risk alternative to SharePoint portal and intranet implementations that integrate on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid environments to provide a unified view of all knowledge assets, independent of where the content resides. Organizations around the globe use our products to transform their intranet search experiences into internet-like search experiences.”

“The criteria for inclusion on the list vary, but each of those listed have things in common. Each has either helped to create a market, redefine it, enhance or extend it,” says Hugh McKellar, KMWorld Editor-in-Chief. “They all share a fundamental motivation to innovatively meet and anticipate the widely diverse needs of customers with robust solutions to meet evolving customer requirements challenges.”
