CuadraSTAR provides a number of programming interfaces that greatly extends its power to operate in multi-application, multi-platform computing environments. These interfaces allow customers to integrate the use of CuadraSTAR data into their own computing environments.

The BA Insight CuadraSTAR Connector crawls content in CuadraSTAR and creates a single index that makes it possible to use your preferred search engine to find relevant information within CuadraSTAR, as well as over 90 other supported repositories, eliminating the need to perform separate searches.

The CuadraSTAR Connector is built on our connector framework, the platform used to build all of our connectors, which provides secure connectivity to enterprise systems.

CuadraSTAR Connectors for SharePoint

The CuadraSTAR Connector supports both full and incremental crawls. Incremental crawls extract only content which has changed since the last crawl.

Some of the attributes of the CuadraSTAR Connector include:

  • Support for all data items within CuadraSTAR.
  • Very high throughput, with little to no impact on CuadraSTAR performance while crawling.
  • The connector honors the CuadraSTAR security, only surfacing the content that users are permitted to see.
  • CuadraSTAR continues to be the master information system and the search index is only a representation of the content within CuadraSTAR. Users work on the original document when they click on search results.

Future-proof Your Investment

As new versions of the search platforms are released, new features and functionality are introduced, and the same is true of new releases of CuadraSTAR.
